Off to a great weekend!

I absolutely LOVE everything about this wedding! From the classic bridesmaid's dresses, to the magical outdoor venue, this wedding has dreamy written all over it--down to the very last detail!

I am amazed at the variety of color this wedding offers! The moss table runners are adorable. I am definitely going to have to keep this wedding in mind while we are planning our big day.

Oh, the early days.

So I started school again this week. I am excited because this semester we are working on the pediatric, labor and delivery and post partum floors. However, we have early early mornings-- which I wish was not the case. We are also working two-twelve hour days, instead of two-six hour days. Should be fun! :)

Pat came home from Thailand earlier this week and is here until tomorrow morning. We are making the most out of this weekend and then we will be back to our last, long distance school semester. I am going to miss him! So happy this long distance deal is almost over & that soon we will be living together!

Went back to one of my favorite bridal salons and ordered my dress! Can't wait to see it when it comes in and wear it when I marry my boy!

We have a venue!

So today, we officially sent in all of our paperwork to the wedding venue we LOVE! We chose Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad, California. It is such a beautiful ranch, which was once owned by the actor Leo Carrillo. It has a magical environment with its rustic, adobe feel. It is full of beautiful peacocks--they even have an all white one named Jack!

We could not be more pleased with this site and can't wait for the big day!
