Weekend love. God is grand!

I had one of the best weekends I have had in a long time up in Berkeley this weekend. A friend, Nick, and I took the CA shuttle bus up to San Francisco for only $40 dollars. It was such a great experience and I really enjoyed catching up with Nick. After about seven and a half hours, I was able to see my baby! We went and grabbed some dinner and then basically just had the best five days ever. We did what we could with wedding plans, went on walks, talked, laughed, and tried a bunch of restaurants, etc. We also went up to Davis for two days because of a hockey tournament he played in. They did really well and won four out of their five games. Pat played like a stud! ;) Monday morning, I got on a plane and came back to good old Pasadena. I still wish I was in Berkeley with him.

I also got to attend an engagement party for some dear friends, Katie and Joey. It was so precious and I had a great time. It was a surprise for Katie and she was beaming with joy when she saw all of us. They are such a cute couple and I can't wait to see what their future brings.

Life is good.

Pat came home this past weekend. It was so great to see him and I wish he was still here! He had a hockey tournament on Saturday in Huntington Beach, so I was able to watch him win all of his games! We were also able to take our engagement pictures on Sunday. They were so much fun and we traveled all over the city. It was freezing that day, but we were able to go through four rolls of film! Our talented photographer and good friend, Arturo, made the day so relaxing and really allowed for a comfortable environment. The photos turned out beautiful and we are happy with every single one of them. I will be posting a couple within the next few weeks!

I absolutely LOVE everything about this wedding! From the classic bridesmaid's dresses, to the magical outdoor venue, this wedding has dreamy written all over it--down to the very last detail!

I am amazed at the variety of color this wedding offers! The moss table runners are adorable. I am definitely going to have to keep this wedding in mind while we are planning our big day.

Oh, the early days.

So I started school again this week. I am excited because this semester we are working on the pediatric, labor and delivery and post partum floors. However, we have early early mornings-- which I wish was not the case. We are also working two-twelve hour days, instead of two-six hour days. Should be fun! :)

Pat came home from Thailand earlier this week and is here until tomorrow morning. We are making the most out of this weekend and then we will be back to our last, long distance school semester. I am going to miss him! So happy this long distance deal is almost over & that soon we will be living together!

Went back to one of my favorite bridal salons and ordered my dress! Can't wait to see it when it comes in and wear it when I marry my boy!
